All about me & my Boston Terrier kennel.
My name is Milica Grujic ( ex Nesic ), the owner of Boston Terrier kennel – Invictus Boston.
Kennel is registered under KSRS & FCI under the registration number FCI 6649.
The kennel is located in small city Vojka, in Serbia, very close to international airport “Nikola Tesla”, only 20km far away and just 35km far away from capital city of Serbia – Belgrade.
Story about me with dogs started even before i was born. How is that possible?
Lets start from beginning. At late 1950s my father Dusan Nesic has started to be very active in cynology. Whole his life he was doing breeding of purebred dogs, cynology promotion. International dog judge in beauty and working. My mother Gorica Nesic – international dog judge specialist for companion and toy dogs, among which is Boston Terrier as well. My father, became a president of Kennel Club of Serbia later. Dogs breeding and Cynology improvement became tradition in our family.
I live in the world and surrounded with dogs as best human’s friends, since my birth.
I was walking with dogs, it was father’s English Setter named Dina. From very earl age I adore dogs, unbreakable connection which is always in my life. My parrents as cynological judges were very often traveled because of dog shows. Even they are here in Serbia they would keep me with them and go to the dog shows and i adored it. A lot of different dog breeds at only one place. Real paradise for the eyes even special for small child like me then.
While from young age i was with dogs. With my 7th birthday, when i got stable to have my own dog, i got from my parrents my very first own dog. It was Chihuahua shorthaired named Baby. I have enjoyed every single moment with her. Fed her, walk with her, trained with her. Then very first dog show comes for us. My friend Baby and me, most elegant couple on show!
The kennel of my parrents was named “Viminacium kennel”.
My father breds large breed of dogs. My mother breds small breed of dogs. I didnt care, i have loved both, bigs and smalls ( honestly even a bit more smaller 🙂 )
During a years of my own growing, i have clarified my own taste and something i liked more darker dogs, smaller and agile. Then on some show, i noticed for the first time exactly the same dog. It was black-white dog, very elegant and small, the real gentleman. It was the love on the first sign, Boston Terrier and me.
As the years went on, my love is not waning, i am enough old and cynology was the thing i get more interested in. How i get interested to meet dogs to the bones, different breeds, it was very interesting to work with them. Everything went easy. I had more than enough understanding to teach every dog what we look from it.
I have prepaired dogs for shows and it was very easy for me as i have enjoyed it.
Then competitions came on many shows, in country and abroad, as well on the most prestigie dog shows in Europe and World, but i was trainer and handler ( person who present dog in the show ring on the best way ).
Many people put interest in my work with dogs and wish that me work with their dogs. Then comes first Boston Terrier, very fast and easy i have teach her everything what owners wanted to do with her, but it was as well my very first long experience with this beautiful breed. I felt in love in their lovely temperament and gentle spirit.
Everything works perfectly!
I wanted to be even better and to make myself perfect with Boston Terrier, as well i have started to do agility things with them. Dogs were very happy during the working with me, and me very proud to them. Its a dog who will makes everything for person who is with it, especially for owners and family.
One very playful dog who wins with its appearance, very loyal and inteligent. The decision has made, one day i will have my Boston Terriers and work with them, promote and show people why Boston Terrier should be one of the most favorite breeds on the world!
I dedicated myself only to Boston Terrier!
Many people were interested to hire me for training and handling their dogs and i did more than they have expected from me. It was very important experience for myself because i get in the breed very deep and learn all about Boston Terriers.
One very important thing before i decided and was ready to get my own dogs. I knew that i can not afford time for working with other dogs than mine. But it didnt stoped me, i would dedicate only to my future dogs.
With refined taste, it was not easy to find out an ideal dog, but not impossible as well.
After few years of searching and waiting, he came – Legolas.
Magnificent dog, the first of my Boston who came from Finland. And from there my story with Bostons begun.
After a while, my another gentlewoman came, this time female – Vika.
I feel the need and i start to the final challenge – registering the kennel.
The kennel “Invictus Boston” was official registered at 2018, since there our official story begun.
